General Summary
Works in a team environment consisting of VIP Hostess, bartenders and bar backs. This position works under the supervision of the Top of the World lounge manager, restaurant manager and director of Top of the World to assist and serve all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible to set-up, maintain and close work stations in an efficient, clean, and timely matter.
• Responsible to greet guests and provide excellent service to all internal and external guests.
• Responsible to present menus, suggest wine, appetizers and specials, and then to serve food, beverages and wine efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Responsible to monitor guests throughout their visit to ensure all needs are met. Ensures tables are kept clean and cleared of all unnecessary items.
• Responsible to total the bill, check bills for accuracy and obtain payment from the guest.
• Assists in setting up tables, including polishing and rolling silverware for service.

Job Specifications/Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have the ability to obtain a valid Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card and Non-Gaming Sheriff’s Card.
• Must be able to provide all documents required for work in the U.S
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate English both in verbal and written form.
• Minimum 4 years experience, serving food, wine and spirits in a high-end dining establishment required. Must be able to use the Infogenesis computer system.
• Must have intermediate wine, spirit and food knowledge to assist guests.
• Excellent guest service skills are required.

Working Conditions
• Regularly walk, stand or stoop.
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Walk, stand, crouch, or run on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
• Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
• Need to distinguish between shades of color.
• Ability to work in crowded and high elevation (in the tower) required.
