• Has a minimum of 5 years experience as a Safety Manager in a Hotel/Casino.
• Has comprehensive knowledge of OSHA requirements, to include experience in development, execution and maintenance of plans to meet those requirements.
• Able to plan, organize, and direct safety activities.
• Develop and implement programs and procedures to ensure overall safety effectiveness.
• Enforce safety program to include environmental and health policies, procedures and practices.
• Analyze safety trends and incident reports and maintain related statistics.
• Implement and manage all safety training programs to ensure compliance with the hotel, federal, state, and city requirements.
• CPR/First aid/AED trainer certified.
• Establishes Safety committee team and organizes meetings to comply with OSHA regulations.
• Able to be a representative where interaction with regulatory officials is needed. Able to communicate responses and compliance with requirements of inspection reports.
• Directs and manages compliance of all departments in proper procedures in regards to Life Safety programs, general safety requirements and establishment of an Emergency Management Plan; creates an effective safety culture across the property.
• Manage and coordinate safety activities, through supervisory personnel, to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout the property.
