Executive Banquet Chef (Las Vegas Strip Hotel/Casino)
Seeking Talented Executive Banquet Chef - The Executive Banquet Chef will oversee the daily operation of the kitchen, providing professional leadership and direction to all kitchen personnel. Qualified candidate will ensure that all recipes, food preparation and presentation meet banquet and restaurant specification and commitment to quality. The Executive Banquet Chef will maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized work environment and will demonstrate this by example, using proper food handling techniques. Will assist in all ordering, oversee creative menu planning and food preparation, supervise and train all culinary staff, as well as maintain food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction. $55-$60 million dollar budget.
Ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A firm understanding of all aspects of a top kitchen operation
- Able to execute and prepare a large volume of meals at one time and work
well under pressure
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and
organizational skills
- Able to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff
- Able to select and develop recipes as well as standardize recipes to
ensure consistent food quality
- Establish presentation techniques and maintain quality standards
Must have excellent attention to detail and quality, excellent plate presentation and cost control skills. Must be hands on motivator with excellent guest service skills. Must have high volume upscale experience running numerous parties at the same time. Great opportunity!
