Chief Engineer of Laundry Operations (Las Vegas, NV)

We are seeking a talented individual to oversee our new environmentally friendly 100,000 sq foot $23m laundry operation.

Chief Engineer of Laundry Operations

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and overseeing staff infrastructure, policies, procedures, obtaining required licenses, permits and required documentation

• Maintain laundry production facility and ensure equipment and systems are functioning and to reduce any down time related to equipment repair and replacement

• Developing preventative maintenance program to ensure continued operation of the equipment

• Ensuring adequate parts inventory as to minimize disruption of the laundry operations

• Maintaining proper staffing for equipment repairs/ordering & stocking parts to minimize equipment down time to meet production requirements which effect pounds per operator hour and cost per pound

• Establishing and maintaining all required documentation for equipment and required governmental agencies

• Training and coaching for engineering staff

• Providing and monitoring all safety requirements

• Maintaining a clean and organized facility

• Handling all administrative tasks associated managing a team

Skills:

• Must have five years experience in a high volume production environment processing room linens, food & beverage linens, uniforms and dry cleaning

• Must possess the skills needed on all equipment for washing, drying and finishing of product

• Must be able to communicate verbally and written in a professional manner

• PC skills: Excel, Word a plus
