The Pastry Cook I is responsible for preparing and finishing foods on all stations within the kitchen, as well as the maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards. Requires a minimum of two years food preparation experience, preferably in a high volume, luxury hotel/restaurant, the ability to read and follow menus and recipes, as well as complete basic mathematical calculations, and strong communication skills in the English language. A culinary training degree and accurate knife skills are preferred, but not required.
